Fabric

All our fabrics are waterproof, stain-resistant, and machine-washable (30º C, no-rinse). For non-removable covers and fabrics, we recommend that they should be cleaned once a year by a specialist cleaning company.

Use any alcohol-free wipe for cleaning on a regular, weekly basis.

Do not use aggressive liquids, chlorine or other similar products.

Avoid cleaning products containing harsh chemicals.

When cleaning, rub vigorously, but not hard enough to damage the fabric.

Last, but not least: Protect your sofa from strong, direct sunlight by using curtains, which will protect the fabric from strong fading.

Velvet

Velvet is an opulent, textured fabric, with very specific cleaning and maintenance instruction set.

_Before washing or cleaning, read carefully the cleaning instructions attached.

_If there’s a “dry-clean only” tag, leave it to the pros; use the services of a reliable, specialist cleaning company.
To wash it, turn it inside out, so that the pile side is not rubbed directly. Use a mild detergent, prefer gentle hand washing.

Avoid the dryer. Hang dry the velvet on a padded, soft hanger.

If you fold and store velvet, place soft tissue in the middle of the folds.

Here’s one last great tip: You can maintain the look of the fabric by rolling it in the direction of the pile, with the pile on the inside as you roll.

Artificial leather

Polyurethane -or faux leather- is more easily cleaned than normal leather. Regardless of that, its correct maintenance and cleaning conditions guarantee its durability and long life. So:

Soak a cloth or sponge in a warm water/green soap mix and wipe down the surface.

Ventilate the fabric on a regular basis.

Avoid placing it too close to radiators or air conditioners. A 30cm distance is ideal.
